UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna Rides Motorcycle to Assembly Office, Promotes Fuel Conservation

Lucknow: Suresh Kumar Khanna reached his office at the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on a motorcycle, reaffirming his commitment towards fuel conservation and environmental protection. The minister said his decision to commute by a two-wheeler once every week is not merely a personal initiative, but a message encouraging responsible energy use and sustainable living.

Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Kumar Khanna said the current international situation remains uncertain, creating challenges across the globe. He noted that Narendra Modi has consistently advocated dialogue and peaceful solutions at the international level, but global conditions are yet to fully stabilise.

The minister stressed that conserving petrol and diesel has become a national necessity. He appealed to citizens to contribute towards energy conservation by using bicycles, public transport, and shared vehicles whenever possible. According to him, saving fuel is not only economically important but also essential for national interest and future sustainability.
